No. 41 most probably H&A production as there is one H&A Model in .41 r.f. caliber gun with a 2" barrel, with a patent date March 28.71 (Hopkins, Samuel S. patent) and the markings U.S. ARMS CO. N.Y., N.Y. right side -------------------------- U.S. Arms Co. was later (so about the 1890s and later) utilized as a brand by Crescent and H. & D. Folsom on shotguns. These shotguns have noting to do with the former U.S. Arms Co. which cessed all activities in 1878.
